Tesla unveils it's Futuristic Beast Cybertruck in Los Angeles.

Updated: Dec 9, 2019

As India awaits the launch of Tesla's first electric car, Elon Musk has launched the company's vision of a Futuristic odd looking pickup truck named "Cybertruck".

The truck was unveiled at The Tesla Design Center in Los Angeles on Thursday, 21st November, 2019.

While Emphasizing the need for Sustainable Energy, Musk mentioned "Trucks have been the same for a very long time, We wanted to show you something different and we need sustainable energy now."

The Cybertruck might not appear similar to other pickup trucks available in the market as of right now, but it definitely stands out.

As per Musk, it's made of stainless steel, said to be resistant to hammer blows, even bullets and the glass is shatterproof Armour impact resistant!

However during the event , when he tried to show how shatterproof the “armored” glass was, things went for a toss.

During the demo, a metal ball thrown by Tesla team to demo the durability of the glass, shattered both the truck’s windows.

“We’ll fix it in post,” a slyish Musk quipped.

The truck will come in three versions with 250 miles, 300 miles, and 500 miles of range, respectively.

And it will start at $39,900 (Rs.29 lakhs approximately) , Musk said.

The truck would begin its manufacture in Tesla assembly line from late 2021 onwards, whereas pre-orders have started on http://tesla.com/cybertruck

What do you think, would you like to see yourself in this beast on Indian roads trying to find way amongst self proclaimed, "Michael Schumacher" types auto rickshawala drivers?
